Insulated Box

**During the hot summer months (May-October) cheese ordered NEEDS an insulated box and ice pack for an additional $8.00.  If it has not been added the charge will be determined after we review your order and we will notify you in an email that we have added it to your order.  For destinations more than 2 days after the package leaves our farm you might want to consider 2nd Day UPS.  An ice pack in boxes more than 2 days in transit may be softened and thawed - it has done a good job keeping things cool...and cheese is ok at warmish temperatures for a couple of days (having been invented before refrigerators). **

Please remember that cheese is remarkably resilient, our blocks of cheese are always brought to room temperature to facilitate cutting and they warm up even more when dipped in the hot wax.  Upon arrival at your home please refrigerate until firm.  We do however recommend cheese be served at room temperature to enjoy its flavor.
