I have been using a small spoonful on the ripe plums we have now. Pit them and cut in pieces, then sprinkle a little maple sugar on the inside surfaces. Microwave for maybe 22 seconds. (Not too long or the plums turn to soup.) Combination of maple and plum flavors is lovely.
This a great to use on oatmeal.
My 1st time ordering maple sugar. Using small amounts for flavor in recipes beats imitation "maple extract" by a landslide.
